A working copy of the hRecipe source code is now hosted on Github:
- Source code: hRecipe on github. Feel encouraged to fork, fix and issue a pull request. If it makes sense, I’ll merge it. If you aren’t sure, and don’t feel like doing the work ahead of time, message me on github and we’ll discuss.
- Here’s where to post Issues and bugs. This will be far better than emailing me or leaving a comment on an hRecipe web page.
I may add some information on the wiki as well, haven’t decided yet. You, however, are welcome to add material to the wiki.

Hi there, I’m not a coder so don’t really want to have to sign up to github to report an issue. However, I know can’t seem to add images to my blogposts now that I’ve added your plugin. I’ve deactivated it, and Hurrah! I can add images again. I’d really like to use your plugin but can you make sure it doesn’t stuff around with the editor, both versions, in the latest version of wordpress?
Thanks
Thanks for your interest. I suggest you have a conflict with another plugin. You might try deactivating little used plugins to see which one is in conflict.
Using github helps me help you and other users better. hRecipe is free and Free software, your participation is appreciated. It’s a community, open invitation.
I’m always open contract work on hRecipe, at reasonably rates.
Hi Dave
thanks for that. I don’t leave random plugins activated on my site, so everything there is there for a reason.
I’d really like to support your plugin, and promote it to other foodbloggers but there has to be a better way of supporting people. i will register on github and log a request and hope you can help resolve the issue.
I’m really frustrated I with how little time I have to work on this at the moment.
It does seem to be working for most users at the moment. Which is of absolutely no help to you, I know.
